What Is IPCA?
The International Photonics Commercialization Alliance (IPCA) is an alliance of international businesses, photonic clusters, and government organizations from the U.S. and Canada working in the field of photonics. These organizations have combined to create an international commercialization association.
The Alliance is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to act as a hub between international businesses, regional photonic clusters, and technology commercialization centers to faciltate the commercialization of photonics-enabled ideas and to help strengthen our members’ capacity to innovate and compete in today’s global economy.
Our Mission
To provide leadership and support internationally for the commercialization of photonics-enabled technologies. We offer Alliance members assistance in all aspects of commercialization by providing an interactive environment where entrepreneurs, investors and researchers meet and exchange ideas to cultivate new opportunities.
IPCA Value Proposition
International collaboration, through an extensive global resource network, forms the foundation for member benefits. As added value for its stakeholders and members, IPCA will also promote and co-sponsor their events, enable communication that may not otherwise occur, and actively pursue teaming opportunities that can speed time to market of new photonics-enabled innovations.
IPCA members will:
- Develop additional revenue streams through increased access to global business opportunities and collaborations;
- Broaden marketing and sales efforts by improving organizational visibility to the global marketplace;
- Solve difficult technical and business challenges rapidly with enhanced identification of quality international resources, saving valuable time and money.
